History of FGGC Onitsha Alumnae USA & Canada.

The Federal Government Girls' College (FGGC) Onitsha, now located in Nkwelle Ezunaka, was founded with a mission to empower young women through quality education, discipline, and a commitment to excellence. Nestled in the Eastern region of Nigeria, our alma mater has nurtured generations of resilient, brilliant, and service-driven women who have gone on to make remarkable contributions across the globe.

As our alumnae journeyed far and wide pursuing higher education, careers, and personal growth many found a new home in North America, particularly across the United States and Canada. With a shared love for our school, a deep sense of sisterhood, and a passion for giving back, the idea to formally organize and stay connected across borders was born.

The FGGC Onitsha Alumnae USA & Canada Chapter was established to bring together graduates living in North America, offering a vibrant platform to reconnect, network, support one another, and collectively uplift our alma mater. Through reunions, mentorship, community service, and fundraising initiatives, our members continue to embody the values instilled in us at FGGC.

We are more than just former classmates. We are sisters for life, united by a powerful legacy and a shared vision for the future.
